Biography:
Dr. Catherine Tedesco is a seasoned educator and educational consultant with over three decades of experience in school and district leadership, curriculum development, and instructional improvement. She currently serves as a lead consultant of Learning Logic Associates, LLC, where she partners with schools and districts to conduct comprehensive needs assessments, guide evidence-based instructional strategies, and support curriculum alignment with state standards. Her work emphasizes tailored interventions for struggling learners, English language learners (ELLs), and students with disabilities (SWDs), helping educational teams implement sustainable, student-centered solutions.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tedesco has held leadership roles at the school, district, and state levels, including serving as Assistant Principal, Manager of Elementary Education, and Executive Director of Instructional Services. She has directed multimillion-dollar federal programs (Title I, II, and III), overseen the design and rollout of balanced literacy curricula, and coordinated professional development initiatives across dozens of schools. Whether mentoring administrators, evaluating programs, or managing instructional budgets, her approach remains grounded in data-driven decision-making and equity-focused leadership.
In addition to her district leadership, Dr. Tedesco has served as an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University, sharing her expertise in reading instruction, literacy diagnostics, and children’s literature with aspiring educators. She is a recognized thought leader, having presented at national and state conferences, contributed to key educational publications, and advised renowned publishers such as Scholastic and Heinemann. Her influence has helped shape the instructional practices and policy development in diverse educational settings.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Tedesco holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Lynn University, a Master’s in Education as a Reading Specialist and a Bachelor of Arts in Exceptional Education. She remains committed to supporting educational equity and excellence, continuously engaging in professional training on topics such as close reading, text complexity, Marzano Framework, and differentiated instruction. Her deep-rooted passion for improving student outcomes continues to inspire educators and leaders across the nation.
Dr. Jill A. East is an Associate Professor of Education at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she prepares the next generation of teachers through a research-driven approach to instruction. With over 25 years of experience in public schools and higher education, her work demonstrates a lifelong commitment to literacy development, mentorship, and academic excellence.
Dr. East began her career as a classroom teacher and reading specialist in Pennsylvania before transitioning into instructional leadership roles in Florida. Over the years, she has served as a literacy coach, professional development facilitator, and curriculum specialist, supporting teachers and administrators across multiple school districts. Her experience encompasses urban, suburban, and multilingual learning environments, with a particular emphasis on serving English learners and students with exceptional needs.
At Palm Beach Atlantic, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in education, specializing in reading instruction, classroom discourse, and curriculum design. Known for her dynamic and discussion-based classrooms, she challenges her students to think critically, communicate with purpose, and teach with compassion. She incorporates multimedia, real-world case studies, and debate protocols into her courses, encouraging students to engage with diverse perspectives while grounding their pedagogy in service-minded leadership.
Dr. East frequently presents at national and state conferences, including the International Literacy Association and the Florida Reading Association. Her recent scholarship explores oral language development, argument-based literacy instruction, and the role of teacher self-efficacy in student achievement. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and educational platforms such as Edutopia, Teaching Times, and the Journal of Research in Childhood Education.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. East has secured multiple professional development and literacy grants, including funding from the Mary and Robert Pew Foundation and Palm Beach Atlantic’s Quality Improvement initiative. She continues to mentor new educators, lead professional learning communities, and support literacy outreach programs aimed at reducing summer learning loss.
Biography:
Informed by more than 30 years of K-12 public education experience, Mollye has a thorough understanding of the complexities inherent in providing effective and appropriate supports and services, while adhering to the full range of federal, state, and local requirements. Her dedication to student and teacher success is evident in her drive to design structures and processes for successful outcomes for all students, including implementation and sustainability in all learning environments.
Mollye’s extensive experience includes eighteen years in educational leadership and administrative roles. Prior to joining Learning Logics Associates, Mollye served as a Senior Consultant for Public Consulting Group LLC, acting as the national lead for the EDPlan MTSS platform. Ms. Kiss worked with school districts and state education agencies on student success projects, providing implementation and leadership support for large-scale Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) initiatives nationally.
Mollye served as the Coordinator of Special Education and Student Services for a school district in Florida which included the oversight of staffing, budget, curriculum, materials, facilities, child find, due process hearings, and compliance with all state and federal requirements related to special education.
Preceding this position, she served in several administrative positions including Coordinator of MTSS-RtI, ESE Program Specialist and Transition Specialist. Mollye has experience with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Through her experience as district liaison to community, advisory, and parent groups, Mollye has held fast to her commitment to children and families.
Additional significant experience includes coaching, curriculum development, instructional strategies/assessment, and building a strong culture and climate focused on learning.

Teresa is a dedicated and accomplished educator with nearly 30 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles, including educational consultant, curriculum developer, instructional coach, and interventionist. Throughout her career, she has remained focused on advancing instructional equity, driving school improvement, and supporting student success. Teresa has worked closely with districts and schools to conduct needs assessments, align curriculum with state standards, and implement data-driven instructional practices. Her work emphasizes building collaborative school cultures that prioritize effective teaching and measurable student outcomes.
As both a strategic leader and skilled practitioner, Teresa has developed standards-aligned curricula across multiple content areas and grade levels, supported effective use of the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) model and guided schools in leveraging the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework. She has designed and delivered extensive professional development, specializing in literacy and instructional coaching. With advanced degrees in education, leadership, and reading, Teresa is deeply committed to inclusive, high-impact education that empowers educators and transforms learning environments for all students.
Dr. Kathryn Morem has dedicated more than 30 years to the field of education, serving as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, district director of professional development, and educational consultant. She currently serves as President of Learning Logic Associates, LLC, and is also a senior-level consultant for Solution Tree, Inc.
Her experience includes serving as an adjunct college professor, an International Baccalaureate teacher in Geneva, Switzerland, and a leader in educational technology organizations overseeing strategic sales and project implementation across the United States. Dr. Morem has successfully designed and led large-scale district initiatives in Florida, developed innovative instructional models, and improved student achievement and district accountability outcomes. Her work in school turnaround practices and instructional capacity-building has been recognized in current educational research.
Dr. Morem’s international experience in Geneva and Mexico City further informed her expertise in innovative school design models that promote high levels of student achievement. She is a graduate of the Florida Commissioner’s Leadership Academy and the National Institute of School Leadership. Dr. Morem holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lynn University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language from Arizona State University.
Joan McCormick-Gibbons, M.ED is an accomplished and groundbreaking educator having taught and lead in public schools for over thirty years.
Joan is a recognized teacher of excellence, respected adjunct professor of mathematics, successful principal of Title I schools, interim assistant superintendent and nationwide consultant in developing school leadership teams. Her beginnings in the classroom has provided grounding and awareness in identifying and developing successful tools to address student academic needs. As a school and district leader, she provided expertise in supporting the work to develop, train and implement teacher and leader evaluation protocols resulting in effective, data driven focus on observational methods and effective instructional strategies.
Joan served as facilitator for the Florida Commission of Education’s Leadership Academy training, supporting school leaders in Palm Beach and Martin Counties, has served as a national and local principal mentor for over ten years, was a member of the pilot program for National Board Certification for Educational Leaders and during an intense time of transition, stepped into the role of Assistant Superintendent to lead implementation of State requirements and day to day operations for a Florida school district.
Most recently, Joan has provided professional development to school and district level leaders in public school districts within Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Florida, Georgia and Alaska. Her expertise is in the area of instructional strategies, observational methods, school and district level leadership development. Â
