Special Education Development & Implementation

We will:

  • Conduct an analysis to determine alignment of instructional practices to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the use of differentiated instruction to support diverse learners.

  • Conduct an analysis to ensure the MTSS framework functions as a fluid instructional model, reducing over-identification and increasing accurate initiation of special education evaluations.

  • Conduct records reviews to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing the rights of students with disabilities.

  • Design organizational and instructional models using best practices to support impactful co-planning practices among general and special education teachers.

  • Build “look-for” indicator tools based on a continuum of best practices for the collaborative teaching model to support an inclusive, differentiated learning environment.
